- Can you briefly introduce yourself?
Hi <3!!!! I’m Mimi, and I’m a chaotic bisexual who uses she/they pronouns. I’m @captaindebbeh on twitter and totallynotmeems on tumblr.
- How have you discovered this series?
I saw the commercials on tv and instantly fell in love with the show.
- How has this series impacted your life?
Not only did we as a community get ✨canon✨ queer representation, we got a comfort show that doesn’t depend on whump (or sad events for normies) to make it a good show. Also it introduced me to the group ThemThere (also known as the six idiots) and i got three new comfort shows out of that. ThemThere did the original version of Ghosts.
- What is the character you relate the most to? And why ?
I think I most relate to Trevor or Pete. Like Trevor, I constantly feel like I have to be someone I’m not just to make others happy. Like, Pete I used to be a pushover until I finally put my foot down and stood up for myself. (Also I do archery so… There’s that similarity)
- Are you watching any other comedy series?
I’m rewatching ‘New Girl‘ now, but over the past few months I’ve started my first watch of ‘Supernatural‘ (which isn’t really a comedy show but it’s funny to me). Also, I’ve started ‘Yonderland‘.
- Do you have a last word, anything else to share?
I’d just like to thank the wonderful community I’ve seen in the Ghosts Discord Servers. I have really felt like they’ve become a safe space. Also, shoutout to Peachy for their amazing artwork that inspired me to keep at mine even when I can’t draw noses (or mouths, or eyes, but you get the point.) She’s really amazing and deserves all the love.
