Today, let’s meet Jodi.
- Can you briefly introduce yourself?
My name is Jodi Zulueta – I’m 51 years old and a jewelry designer. My business’s name is Wire Wrapture Artistically Twisted‚Ñ¢ where you will find not only my artisan designs, but my fandom inspired pieces too, including pieces inspired by ‘Ghosts’ CBS! You can visit my shop at WireWrapture.com
- How have you discovered this series?
I found it accidentally! I was perusing around Paramount Plus and I saw the name “Ghosts”. Didn’t read the description, I just decided I wanted to watch some scary stuff (I’m a horror FANATIC). Well wouldn’t you know this was the complete opposite of a horror show – it was utterly HILARIOUS! I’m not a sitcom kind of gal, nor do I really watch anything that isn’t horror adjacent, but as soon as I was five minutes in on the pilot episode, I knew I found a very special show.
- How has this series impacted your life?
I mentioned earlier that I design fandom inspired pieces and up until I saw ‘Ghosts‘, all of fandom pieces were either horror or anime related for the most part. Ghosts was so incredibly inspiring that I created an entire line of products called “Apparitions” where you will find a design for ALMOST every character (I’m still working on Sam and Jay). It’s brought me a lot of joy and a fresh burst of creativity!
- What is the character you relate the most to? And why ?
It’s like trying to eat just one potato chip! Ok, if I HAD to choose I think it would be Trevor. He and I have a lot in common, right down to working at Lehman Brothers in New York in the 90s. His feelings of never quite fitting in with his co-workers is something I fully relate to. I have a degree in art but wound up in the financial industry to make ends meet. I encountered many people that left me feeling like I was an outsider. And I was. I believe Trevor felt that way. And I think he’s a much more complex character than we realize
- Are you watching any other comedy series?
I watch a lot of cartoon comedies such as ‘Family Guy‘, ‘American Dad‘, ‘King of the Hill’, and even ‘Dragon Ball‘ (of which I am an ENORMOUS fan) has a lot of comedy in it.
- Do you have a last word, anything else to share?
I’d like to remind everyone that they define their own truths. No one else can define that for you. You have the reins. If I allowed others to dictate how I live, I would never have had the opportunity to do what I absolutely love for a living, creating jewelry inspired by all of my favorite things.
