Through these small and exclusive interviews called ‘5 Questions with a Cast Member‘, discover some of the ‘Ghosts‘ series cast member.
Today, in exclusivity, let’s meet Cody Crain who plays one of the basement ghost.
- Can you briefly introduce yourself?
My name Cody Crain, I’m an Actor/Comedian and I play Cholera victim Cody.
- How did you get into acting? Who is your inspiration?
I’ve always been into entertainment and loved theatre. I’d have to say though what really got me into it was wrestling and growing up watching The Rock. It was live theatre, it was improv and it was funny(sometimes). But, I also went to Vancouver Film School because Kevin Smith went there so he has to be up there as an inspiration too.
- Can you describe a typical filming day on the set of ‘Ghosts’?
It’s a fun experience and everyone is so nice on set. Ironically my first day was the scene where I introduce Creepy Dirk UPSTAIRS and I got to be in the presence of all of the other ghosts and watch them do their thing. They’re all so brilliant and the amount of hilarious improv that doesn’t make the final cut could be a show on its own. I hope I get to escape the basement again one day.
- Can you talk about your next project, something you are currently working on?
Currently I’m recording weekly my podcast Spooked! where we do improv and talk about the paranormal. Was having an on brand podcast why I was cast? Who knows!
- Do you have a last word, anything else to share?
You can catch me on season 2 of Locke and Key or see me in person at Toronto Comic-Con where I’ll be performing and signing on March 18th, 19th and 20th.
